Thin floor milling using moving support
نویسندگان
چکیده
During milling of the thin floor a pocket which is located on monolithic structure, it very difficult to achieve high accuracy and good surface quality due its low rigidity. In this paper, novel approach proposed overcome difficulties that are encountered during floor. The method realized by using small axial depth cut but placing moving support at back machining, in will move with cutter same velocity. An experimental platform built demonstrate validity method. results show can effectively improve structure.

2d model of floor surface roughness in micro milling operation
the micro milling operation is one of the manufacturing processes, which can produce 3d parts in the range of less than a millimetre. miniaturization of components results in increasing the ratio of surface area to volume of components, which in turn increases the role of surface on the component performance. therefore, anticipating the relationship between micro milling parameters and surface ...
متن کاملStable Milling of Thin-Walled Parts with Variable Dynamics
The milling of thin-walled parts can become a seriously complex problem. In this work, the problem of the variable dynamics of a test part has been solved through the calculation of 3D stability lobes which add a third dimension with the tool position along the part, to the traditional depth of cut-spindle speed pair. First, the dynamics of a test part in several machining steps have been calcu...

Mechanical alloying has recently attracted considerable attention as researchers strive to enhance nanocomposite properties and extend their utility. The process can be performed at room temperature and homogeneous nanocomposite powders can be produced. In this paper, we investigated the effect of different ball milling parameters and operating conditions (milling time, ball size, processing co...
متن کاملOptimization of Surface Roughness in End Milling Using Potential Support Vector Machine
This paper is concerned with the optimization of the surface roughness when milling aluminium alloys (AA6061-T6) with carbide coated inserts. Optimization of milling is very useful to reduce cost and time for machining mould. Potential support vector machine (PSVM) is used to develop surface roughness predicted model. Design of experiments method and response surface methodology techniques are ...
متن کاملTool Wear Estimation using Support Vector Machines in Ball-nose End Milling
This paper introduces a method to determine the tool wear by measured cutting force in Ball-nose End Milling. The features will be extracted from the measured cutting force with different flank wear. As the adaptive window width in wavelet transform is an advantage for analyzing and monitoring the rapid transient of small amplitude of cutting force signals when cutting engagement changes along ...
